Things to do - The day before

In the morning and early afternoon

Ensure flight or travel tickets, foreign currency and passports are packed together but not in the suitcase. Keep these things together and in your handbag or other hand-luggage.

Pack a bag for your wedding night and a suitcase for your honeymoon. Deliver the bags to the hotel together with the wedding book, name cards for the place settings and printed menus if you've had those done.
.
Pick up all hired formal wear.

Best man to collect rings.

Give spare set of keys to the person who is looking after your property while you're on honeymoon. Give a contact number where you can be reached on honeymoon in case of emergency.

Call your bridesmaids and best man and make sure they are carrying a sticking plaster, a needle and thread, a headache tablet and a couple of safety pins - just in case.

Prepare everything for the next day...lay out your wedding dress together with shoes, lingerie and accessories.

Time now to start relaxing, de-stressing and winding down.

For the bride:

Visit the beautician and have a manicure, pedicure, massage and facial treatment. Book an aromatherapy massage.

Go out for a meal with your best friend.

Have a leisurely bath, with candles in the bathroom and listen to relaxing music. Go to bed early and sleep well.

For the Groom:

Spend the night in the hotel. Stay sober.
