Wedding photographs are one of the most important
elements of your wedding day and it is very important to have them
done properly.
However, taking photographs is not something that can be done quickly
if it is to be done well - which means that there will be a certain
amount of time when the bride and groom, the wedding party and families
will be unable to mix with the other guests.
Take this into account when planning the photographer's
time and try to stagger the number of people required for poses. The
photographer will probably have a list of poses and groupings of people
that are to be taken. Try to take the large groups photos first, thereby
freeing up members of the wedding party to attend to the guests.
Try to avoid keeping people waiting endlessly until the formal photographs
are finished. The photographs can be taken between the end of the
ceremony and the beginning of the reception, thereby allowing the
guests the opportunity of a pre-dinner drink and a chance to mingle
among themselves.
